Having endless fresh powder at your disposal sets a prime scene for instruction while access to quality rental gear gives you the foundation for excellence you deserve.

Because Park City Mountain Resort is a bigger location than Deer Valley, beginners will find more options for customized instruction, but that said, you can’t go wrong at either Park City ski area. Both are designed for family-friendly winter fun and if you choose Deer Valley, you can focus your lessons exclusively on ski techniques. No matter where you choose to ski, beginner trails and slopes are marked with signage featuring green circles.

At Deer Valley, Blue Bell and Lower Lilly are great Park City ski trails to start with, and in total, there are five green-level slopes to explore. Over at Park City Mountain Resort, hitting up the First Time Trail is a must for new skiers because it’s really more of a bunny hill than anything else. Here, you can work on balance and movement before making your way to more challenging beginner slopes like Home Run, which is accessible using the Town Lift from Park City’s Main Street. When you’re booking ski lessons at either resort, you’ll have options to pick and choose from group lessons according to age, or private lessons that give you one-on-one time to learn and ask questions. Tips and Trails for Intermediate Skiers

Park City is an oasis of fun for intermediate skiers who are looking to have a great time on the slopes and can’t wait to improve their skill set along the way. When you have experience skiing but you wouldn’t consider yourself an expert quite yet, both Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley offer up exceptional options and runs to check out. Of the two resorts, Park City Mountain Resort has more skiable acreage to explore for intermediate-level guests, but Deer Valley offers a limited lift pass experience that keeps you far from the crowds.

At Deer Valley, intermediate-level skiers can access the Carpenter Express from Snow Park Base and make their way up to Success. This is a gentle run to kick things off that leads to the base of Little Baldy. Once you feel warmed up, be sure to check out Park City, Utah ski trails like Little Stick, Flagstaff, and Big Stick, where loosely spaced trees and wide terrain make for fun weaving exercises. Don’t overlook Hawkeye or Hidden Treasure as well.

If you’re focusing your ski fun on time at Park City Mountain Resort, blue-level slopes are ideal for intermediate skiers and include Home Run, Mel’s Alley, Powder Keg, and Tombstone Express to name a few of many. The vast majority of intermediate-level skiers will love time on the Upper Lookout Ridge as well.

As soon as the fresh powder begins to fall each ski season, advanced skiers from across the map are jumping at the chance to spend quality time in Park City. Here, they have access to world-renowned resorts with so much to offer and opportunities to take skill sets to the next level with ease. Expert skiers enjoying time at Park City Mountain Resort will love the 13 signature Park City ski trails that are groomed meticulously for qualified athletes to enjoy. Be sure to hop on the Jupiter Lift while you’re here and make your way to the advanced runs at both Juniper Bowl and Juniper Peak. These runs are dotted with steep shots and spaced glades as well as trees that add to the challenge. You’ll also want to make sure to set your sights on 6 Bells, which has earned a reputation as a great place for advanced skiers thanks to the deep powder it contains. Scott’s Bowl, Machetes, and Puma Bowl are also must-try destinations when you have the skills to take on rugged terrain. Looking for a double black option to tackle? You’ll find it waiting for you at McConkey’s Bowl.

If you’re planning to spend more time at Deer Valley, Bald Mountain is a must. Hit the trails!

Happy hiking, everyone! Park City is home to many trails, paths, bikeways, and walkways that are ideal for exploring nature, burning calories, getting in your 10K steps per day, and enjoying quality time with your loved ones. Not sure where to start? Check out these popular excursions that are great for people of varying fitness levels and ages.

If you just have a few hours to kill and want something with the best of the best, hit the Bloods Lake and Lackawaxen Trail. Don’t be put off by the name — this trail is a nice and gentle path that is less than 3 miles and features less than 500 feet of elevation gain, meaning you can do this with younger kids without any issue.

Although there are moderately steep areas, this popular hike is great for swimming in the lake, bringing a picnic lunch, and meandering through the hills to sit and chill out in the open meadows. The lush greenery, pine trees, wildflowers in the meadows, and cool lake water are perfect for a hot summer day!

Next, Silver Lake to Bald Mountain is a smart hike for those who want something a little bit harder that takes around 2-3 hours. This out-and-back trail is nearly 45 miles but features almost 1,500 feet of elevation gain, so you will definitely feel your quads during this walk. This breathtaking trail is perfect for moderately fit individuals who want bird’s-eye views, great photo opportunities, and diverse wildlife.

For trail runners who want unobstructed views for their entire line, the Lofty Lakes loop is a 4.4-mile loop that offers almost 1,000 feet of elevation gain. We love going for a run on this trail early in the morning with our dog on a leash as we gaze out over the alpine lakes and views of Park City and Mirror Lake. The lakes on this path are truly breathtaking, making it one of the must-do hikes for all Park City tourists.

Lastly, we can’t get enough of Alpine Lakes in Park City, featuring bright blue water, wildflower meadows, expansive views, and well-marked trails—and the Three Divide Lakes path is no exception. This 5.4-mile loop trail is dog-friendly and offers 500 feet of elevation gain. Head to the Crystal Lake Trailhead and walk along this path to see Clyde Lake, Lofty Lakes, and the Three Divide Lakes. The effort is well worth it!

Have a Drink

After a long day of being out on the trail and working as hard as you can to reach the peak, it might be time to relax and chill out with a cold beer. Sounds good, doesn’t it? We think so, too! Head to O’Shucks Bar and Grill on Main Street to watch a sports agent on the TV, chat with locals, and have a cheap beer with a laid-back vibe. Or try No Name Saloon if you are in the mood for an Old-Western-themed bar and tasty cocktails!

Want to watch a game on TV? Sit in Collie’s Sports Bar and Grill, order some shareable appetizers to split with the table, and sip on a craft beer as you cheer on your favorite football or baseball team. For those who want to stick with the ‘old-time’ vibe, Boneyard Saloon and High West Saloon are two themed bars that offer tasty food, shareable appetizer dishes, great beer selections, and fun atmospheres.

Visit a Winery

Park City has many bars, but it also offers wineries ideal for a summer excursion. We love going to Old Town Cellars on Main Street to learn more about wine, learn more about how wine is made, and sample some of the best varietals in the entire state. Head here any day before 10 p.m. to relax in the bar and lounge, shop at the oTc bottle shop, or book your own private experience, like tastings and events.

Visit Park City Brewing

Get a great view of the nearby mountains, sit outside on a hot Park City summer day, and sip on a cold beer at Park City Brewing. We love coming here after a day of hiking, biking, swimming, or walking around the downtown area to soak in the pristine views, enjoy a few cocktails, or try the fantastic craft beer. Order some smoked chicken drums, hot cheese curds, or PCB pretzel bites, and pair them with any beer on draft for dinner.

We think the best spot to do that is in Park City, a bustling mountain town with an upbeat atmosphere perfect for a weekend away from home: try a Memorial Day in Park City!

Explore the Numerous State Parks

One of the best activities you can do with people of various fitness levels and ages is exploring the state parks. It doesn’t mean that you need to go on a challenging 7-hour hike with your younger kids, but it does mean that you can explore nature, see the local wildlife, take photos of breathing rolling hills and flowers, and have a great time getting some fresh mountain air.

Head to Deer Creek State Park for a nice walk with your kids for a post-lunch treat. Or check out Jordanelle State Park to go fishing and biking along the dirt paths to break a sweat and do an adrenaline-pounding activity. We also love going to Rockport State Park to bring a picnic and have an outdoor lunch under the colorful trees. For cardio, you can also go for a morning trail run at the nearby Echo Reservoir!

Take a Drive

If you are a little short on time, but you want to see all the wildlife and nature surrounding Park City, going for a scenic drive is one of the best ways to see the far-reaching views, never-ending vistas, towering mountains, lush green pine forests, and bright blue lakes. You don’t have to hike for hours and hours to get great views – taking a drive along Guardsman Pass and the mirror Lake Scenic Byway is a perfect alternative.

Shop Along Main Street

If you want to get a bit of shopping done this holiday weekend or need a new date-night outfit for the first evening of your Memorial Day Weekend, walk along Main Street to shop the vintage, boutique, chain, and tourist shops to find exactly what you want. You can also learn more about the culture of the town and the history of Park City by visiting educational institutions, like the Park City Museum.

Go Out to Dinner

There is no better time to go to dinner than if you are on a family vacation or a couple’s retreat in Park City, UT for a bustling and busy holiday weekend. We love the buzz that surrounds this small mountain town on a holiday weekend, filled with locals and tourists alike. Make sure you book a reservation and secure a table at one of the popular spots, like tupelo Park City or Handle, to have mouthwatering food and strong drinks.

At tupelo, we love ordering the buttermilk biscuits with honey butter, deviled eggs with creme fraiche and fried country ham, and the crispy brussels sprouts with dried cranberries and feta for starters. For a main dish, you can’t go wrong with the Iberian pork chop with white cheddar hominy grits and peach barbecue sauce or the charred cauliflower and butter bean hummus for veg-heads.

Handle is the spot for you if you want fresh produce and a farm-to-table vibe. Order the oysters with mignonette, kale with pine nuts, and hamachi crudo with Calabrian chile vinaigrette and toasted breadcrumbs as unique starters to split with the table. Then, try the mushroom Bolognese with truffled mascarpone, fried chicken with grilled carrots, or lamb T-bone with garam masala and white yam for a main dish.

Listen to Some Live Music

To keep the party going all night long after a healthy dinner overlooking the beautiful ski slopes and snow-capped mountains, we recommend going to one of the local bars or live music venues in Park City to listen to talented musicians. Check out Boneyard Saloon on Kearns Boulevard to have a few drinks, chat with locals, and enjoy the holiday vibe.

Or check out The Cabin, a chilled-out bar with outdoor seating, indie musicians, and local singers who can get you up out of your chair and singing in no time. Deer Valley Resort

Meet the Easter Bunny and take pictures for your kids’ memory albums this Easter season! Head to the Deer Valley Resort at the Snow Park Lodge area in the morning to take pictures with the cute Easter Bunny on skis. If the weather cooperates, you can even go for a morning run down the ski slopes and then take pictures for a little après ski fun.

Have Brunch at the Boneyard Saloon

Even though the name of this restaurant may be intimidating, the brunch is not! The Boneyard Saloon offers a great spot for you and your friend to imbibe on a few Bloody Marys or mimosas with your main brunch meal. We love coming here with friends to have an adult-type weekend in Park City, providing the perfect spot to kick off a day full of fun, drinking, dancing, and exploring Park City’s food and drink scene.

Order the typical American dish if you are a traditionalist, featuring two eggs any style, a choice of bacon or sausage, home-fried potatoes, and a choice of toast. For those who are a little more adventurous, we love the hefty breakfast burrito or the Breakfast Pizza, featuring a wood-fired pizza oven dough, whipped eggs, cheddar cheese, and signature pizza crust.

Head to Drafts Burger Bar

After a few hours at brunch with your mates, it might be time to carry on the fun. Head to Drafts Burger Bar to enjoy another meal and a few pints to keep the party going. Truly, there is no better pairing than quality draft beer and a burger, so we think this is the quintessential lunch stop for young adults who want to watch a game on TV, meet locals in the area, or have fun just chatting with their pals in a laid-back, casual sports bar.

Want to get something else besides the typical burger and chips? We also love ordering one of the healthier plant-based burgers if you want to be a little lighter after a hefty brunch later in the day. The Bougie Hippie with sunflower seed, black beans, hummus, and Boursin cheese pairs perfectly with an IPA! Or, if you are stopping alcohol for a little bit, the ‘I Want All the Puppies’ Oreo and thick vanilla ice cream shake is divine.

Head to the Kimball Art Center

Combine the holiday celebration with learning more about the city’s art and culture scene. You can kill two birds with one stone by learning more about the history of art and music while partaking in fun art activities, celebrating Easter with your kids, going on an Easter egg hunt, and using arts and crafts to design and dye your own eggs to bring back home.

Have an Early Dinner at Bartolo’s

If you are still hungry after a full day of exploring Park City, eat brunch. After running around at multiple Easter egg hunts, it might be time for an early dinner before heading home to go to bed early. Luckily for you, Bartolo churns out authentic Italian and Mediterranean dishes all day long until 4 pm. So, if you are craving a huge bowl of pasta or spaghetti at 3 o’clock, this is the spot for you.

Plus, you can pair a hearty red or light white wine with your chosen lunch dish. Suppose you are keen to continue drinking more wine and sampling varieties from the region. In that case, we recommend booking a wine tour – professional or a do-it-yourself version – to the local wineries and breweries to see what types of Pinots and Merlots are your favorites.

Finish the Day at The Spur

If you are in Park City to have a fun and raucous weekend with your friends, and you have left the kids at home with the babysitter, then continue on to have a fun evening at The Spur. The Spur is an ever-popular music venue that truly comes alive on the weekends. It offers the chance to listen to live music, dance the night away, and listen to talented musicians do what they do best.

We recommend heading here early in the evening to try some of their beers on tap. If you stay all night long, you can try some of their infamous whiskey to help you off your seat and onto the dancefloor. This bustling bar and pub is well known for its beer on tap, carefully crafted cocktails, and local spirits that bring in people from all over the country.

Spring Break is a popular time to travel, as kids are off school and adults often want a break from their everyday routine. If you’re looking to plan something extra special this year, we suggest heading to Park City for an exhilarating getaway! Read on below to see how to spend your Spring Break in Park City, Utah.

Head to One of the Ski Resorts

Even if the snow is slowly dwindling, you can still get a few more good runs in during the springtime. Just before the last snow melts, make sure you get a lift pass, pack up your snowboard, put on your goggles, and head to one of the nearby resorts, like Deer Valley Resort or Park City Mountain. The springtime is arguably the best season to go skiing, since you will have fewer crowds to deal with, warmer weather, and blue skies all day long.

We recommend doing one of the southeastern facing slopes early in the day before they soften up and turn into fresh powder. Then, work your way to the other side of the mountain to continue shredding the perfect packed snow. Try any choice of beginner, intermediate, or black diamond runs to really push yourself on a big ski day out.

Enjoy Après Ski

And, of course, after a big day of skiing, snowboarding, or tubing, you need to indulge in some après ski to let loose, relax, and chill out. We love that après ski is so readily accessible here in Park City, so you can have a few drinks, share appetizers with your pals, and soak in the breathtaking sights after working hard all day long.

We recommend going to Drafts Sports Bar and Grill if you are in the mood to watch live sports on the numerous flat screen TVs to decompress after a full-on day of outdoor sports. Share some of the appetizers, like the cheesy mozzarella sticks or French fries, and pair them with a perfect pint of an IPA for a fresh kick or a hearty stout to warm up from being on the slopes.

For those who want cocktails and other unique food offerings, the Umbrella Bar is great for drink deals, good vibes, and far-reaching views. If you want to sit outside and soak in the pristine sunshine, the Corner Store in downtown Park City Base Area is ideal after you come right off of the mountain.

And for those who can ski right into town, or ski from their accommodation to a nearby restaurant, you can’t go wrong with the High West Distillery located just a few steps (or ski pushes) off of Main Street. The cocktails, draft beer, and well drinks here are just unbeatable.

Go Out at Night

If you are headed on vacation for Spring Break in Park City, chances are you want to go out, have fun, and have a few drinks. After a long few weeks of work, school, or family get-togethers, it can be time to decompress and de-stress. There is no better way than indulging in the city’s nightlife and meeting some other locals who are out on the town to have fun at the same time.

Not sure where to start? We bet. There are over 100 bars, clubs, restaurants, breweries, wineries, and distillers in Park City. However, we recommend heading to the No Name Saloon for an Old Western vibe, cool music, friendly people, and great drinks. Then, continue the party at the Park City Pleasure Club to dance the night away with an infamous gin cocktail in hand.

Spring Concert Series

Head to downtown Park City, take off your ski boots, throw on your sunglasses, and just relax while listening to live music from local musicians and artists who are there to have a great time — just like you. There is free live music every Saturday beginning in March, so make sure to spend some time outside with your loved ones this holiday season.

If you can’t get enough of live music, DJs, and good tunes, check out the Mid Mountain Lodge during March to sit outside, have a drink from the public house, and listen to the DJ spin his tracks as you see the skiers whiz down the mountain.

For more live music, good vibes, and great drinks, the Spring Gruv at Park City Mountain is ideal for young people who want to go out and have fun with their pals. There is live music during March and April, offering free concerts every Saturday, yummy appetizers, family activities for your kids, and much more.

The Border Food Truck Tacos, Birria, and Burgers

Are you in the mood for tasty Tex-Mex food that won’t break the bank? Forget going to a fancy sit-down restaurant and instead head to this authentic, tasty, and convenient food truck in the heart of Park City. You can sit outside, watch the sunset go down over the nearby snow-capped mountains, and nosh on a few mouthwatering tacos with fresh ingredients. What could be better?

We love the mulitas for an appetizer to split with the table, featuring steak, al pastor, pineapple, spicy pork, chicken, and veggies. Another great choice for an easy sharing ‘sandwich’ is the Torta with steak, al pastor with pineapple, and your choice of other fillings. The massive burritos are great as stand-alone entrees, with your choice of birria, chicken, or veggies as the filling.

Make sure you also get one of the other signature dishes during your vacay in Park City, like the tacos for just $2.49 a piece. This is a huge bargain for the fresh tacos with your choice of meat, refried beans, salsa, and fresh tortilla wraps. Kids will love the cheese quesadillas for a simple, tasty, and savory dish that you can customize to your liking.

If you want the ‘birria special’, then order the aptly named dish with 3 big crunchy shell tacos, double tortillas, melted cheese, and consommé broth. Want to combine authentic Mexican dishes with American food? Well, we recommend the Monster burger with a double patty, cheese, bacon, ham, hot dogs, pineapple, and avocado. You won’t have room for dessert after this dish!

End the evening with sweet milkshakes, like the Oreo shake or M&M shake. You can also wash down your burger, burrito, or birria with horchata juice, freshly made waters, or tasty juices that add a bit of sweetness to your savory sandwich or Mexican platter.

Freshies Lobster

Although you’re not right on the coast, Park City turns out great seafood dishes with freshly caught fish, crunchy vegetables, and local produce from the nearby area that makes seafood dishes tasty and delectable. Freshies is a food truck in Park City that is well known for their lobster, bringing people in from all over the country to enjoy the buttery and flaky fish.

Not sure what to get during your first visit? We highly recommend getting the lobster roll, of course. This New England hot dog bun features fresh lobster, mayonnaise, hot butter, and special seasoning that really puts it over the edge. You can get the XL Real Mainah with 3.7 ounces of fresh Maine lobster or the ‘tourist’ special with 2 ounces of Maine lobster.

Pair the lobster roll with one of the soups during a cold winter day, like the lobster bisque or New England clam chowder with clams, potatoes, chives, and oyster crackers. Or pair the lobster roll with a side during a spring day, like the lobster cocktail or lobster mac and cheese with gruyere cheese and 2.5 ounces of more savory lobster.

Do you want another sandwich besides the signature lobster roll? You will love the caprese sandwich for veggies, featuring burrata cheese, tomato, arugula, pesto sauce, and balsamic. We also love the Nono Dog, with grass fed beef hot dog and New England hot dog buns.

Lush’s Tennessee BBQ

Who knew you could find Southern barbecue in Park City, a ski-centric town towards the West Coast of the United States? Well, look no further. You Can bring some of the Deep South to Utah by going to Lush’s Tennessee BBQ to get hearty meat dishes, sit outside in the beautiful weather, and curb your cravings.

Split one of the appetizers with the table, like the nachos with pulled pork or beef brisket. We also love the Beyond Barbecue section of the menu, featuring spaghetti and meatballs, a grilled salmon sandwich with two sides, and the grilled Mahi sandwich for those who want a seafood dish or don’t enjoy a barbecue. Although, we think everyone enjoys traditional Southern BBQ!

Start with the pulled pork sandwich or the beef brisket sandwich during your first visit, featuring either the ¼ pound or ½ pound option. You can also get a platter if you are super hungry, like the pulled pork platter, chicken platter, combo platter, or beef brisket platter for a hearty entree. Family meals include pulled pork, beef brisket, rack of ribs, or combo platter to share with the entire table.

There are tons of food trucks Park City has to offer you and the surrounding areas, but we think the best ones are a little more creative and outside of the box than just typical American food. The Border Food Truck offers birrias, tacos, burritos, and authentic Mexican dishes you won’t find in typical Tex-Mex joints. Freshies has super-fresh lobster and seafood to die for. And Lush’s is authentic Southern food with savory meats. What could be better?

There is so much for you to do when you visit the bustling mountain town of Park City, Utah, this upcoming year. Not only can you spend time skiing, hiking, fishing, and walking around the incredible nature paths and lush green pine forests, but you can spend quality time with your loved one if you head here during a wintry weekend in February.

Leave the cold weather behind in the Northeastern United States and head somewhere that you can go outside, bring your skis, enjoy the fresh snowfall, and not be cooped up inside all weekend long. Park City, Utah, is the best spot for you to see incredible nature, experience what it’s like to live in this idyllic mountain resort town during Park City Valentine’s Day and spend relaxing time with your significant other as you gaze out at the beautiful mountainous backdrop.

Go Skiing

One of the top activities that is great for out of town with your partner is to go skiing or snowboarding. Even if you’re a beginner, you can make your way down the green slopes and see the town unfolding through the white snow beneath you. Or, if you are both experts at skiing and shredding the fresh powder with your snowboards, you can get an adrenaline rush by whizzing down the black diamond runs on the icy slopes.

Have a Romantic Dinner in Town

After a long day of skiing, snowboarding, and après ski indulging on the nearby slopes, we recommend going to one of Park City’s most highly-lauded and top-rated restaurants — the Riverhorse. This upscale and elegant eatery features modern decorations, unique interior design, luxurious ambiance, and friendly servers who are there to make sure you have the best experience possible.

All of the food here rotates based on the seasonal availability and creativity of the chef, so you can rest assured you are getting a unique and mouthwatering dish at all times of the year.

Start your evening with one of the appetizers to split with your partner. We recommend getting the ‘Sea’ plate, including King crab legs, cocktail sauce, butter poached shrimp, black garlic aioli, smoked salmon pancake, and dill creme fraiche. We also love the small plates, like the oysters on the half shell, goat cheese with wontons, bacon wrapped shrimp with cream cheese, and pierogies with gruyere cheese.

As a main dish, you can’t go wrong with any of the choices. We love the numerous filets and ribeye steaks for meat lovers, with your choice of sides, like scalloped potatoes, togarashi rosti potatoes, soy ginger glazed brussel sprouts, heirloom tomatoes, and promontory cheddar grits.

If you are more of a seafood or veggie lover, the Wild Salmon dish with pine nut Tuile, ratatouille, crispy eggplant, and house made ricotta is sure to get your taste buds going. End the meal with some dessert and a few glasses of red wine to keep the romance flowing and leave feeling happy, satisfied, and ready to carry on with the night.

Get a Couple’s Massage at the Align Spa

There are numerous spas and wellness centers for you to choose from to visit during your stay in Park City, all of which offer massages, facials, fitness centers, pools, hot tubs, and much more to help you relax and rejuvenate after a long day of skiing on the slopes. We love going to Align Spa on Bonanza Drive to bond with your partner, chill out with your significant other, sip on some rosé, and get a couple’s massage.

Align Spa offers different massage types, such as the basic Swedish massage to reduce tension, the therapeutic massage to relax overused muscles, a deep tissue massage to help with mobility, and a duet massage to enjoy a relaxing experience with your boyfriend or girlfriend in a private room together.

You can end your relaxing and serene massage with one of the specialized treatments, including aromatherapy oils for a stress-free experience, techniques to help with skin care, and luxurious products to add moisture and nourishment after undergoing harsh weather. We love the Moroccan oil and scalp treatment, including a hand and foot massage, that helps calm the body, muscles, and soul.

See a Movie Together

Last but not least, seeing a movie with your significant other is one of the best romantic date night ideas that never goes out of style. After a lovely meal at one of the fine dining establishments in town, you can head to the nearby cinema to catch a new flick, share some popcorn, and have a few drinks.

We recommend going to Redstone 8 Cinemas Park City to see the latest movies out in the theater. Make sure you book ahead of time and grab a good seat in the dark room so you can see the screen, indulge in a few sweet and sugary snacks, and canoodle with your loved one.

There is so much for you to do for this upcoming Park City Valentine’s Day weekend with your partner. Spend quality time with one another at a spa, shred the fresh powder on the ski slopes, watch a flick together at the cinema, and get a couple’s massage to help relieve any tension.

Park City is one of the best cities for people to visit any item of the year. Not only does it include breathtaking viewpoints of the surrounding mountains, great things to do, and mouthwatering returns, but there are dozens of activities that you can do year-round that will truly take your breath away.

If you take a trip to Park City in the winter, you can take full advantage of the nearby slopes and the ski trails. Ski lovers and expert snowboarders will rejoice at the numerous paths and trails that literally lead right into the center of the town, providing a mecca for alpine athletes to hit the slopes, take the Park City Alpine Slide, and end the day right on the main street at one of the numerous restaurants or bars.

In the springtime, the snow begins to melt, and you can take your last few runs down the nearby slopes. Once the weather warms up, begin to hike and bike on the snowboard and ski paths, bringing out your mountain bike and hiking shoes to hit the dirt paths and check out the far-reaching views across the towering mountains.

Once the summer weather is here, you can hop in the lake, go swimming, try your luck at fishing, and spend time doing water sports in the heart of Park City. Plus, you can spend more time outside during the afternoon hours to get a tan on your face and go shopping in the bustling downtown area.

And, during the Fall, watch as the leaves change color on the trees, the weather begins to take a turn, and the first snowfall arrives.

Park City is beautiful at all times of the year, as you can see. That is why we think that you will love staying with us at one of our luxurious properties. Keep reading to see a few must-do things for your upcoming 2024 vacation in this bustling and exciting mountain town.

Grab Breakfast with Your Mates

First things first — it is time to have a filling breakfast. If you head here in the beginning of the new year, there might be snow still on the slopes for at least a few months. As a new alpine athlete, make sure you fuel up before hitting the Black Diamond ski runs or the snowboard bunny slope.

We recommend going to Five 5eeds in the center of town to try some of the creative American and modern plates. This down-home and family-owned restaurant is perfect for meeting locals, chatting with the owners, and eating tasty and organic food that comes out fast and hot.

Try the Banana Bread with Espresso Cream paired with your iced coffee or hot latte if you want something sweet to give you a morning kick. This tasty and melt-in-your-mouth bread comes with espresso mascarpone and buckwheat.

For those who want a savory dish, the bacon and egg breakfast sandwich topped with folded eggs, bacon, gruyere cheese, and chili jam is the ideal sandwich to give you a burst of energy. Or, for veg lovers, try the mushroom toast with whipped ricotta and maitake mushrooms.

Hit the Slopes

Once you are done noshing on the filling and nourishing breakfast, it is time to lace up your ski boots and head to Park City Mountain Resort. This is the top skiing and snowboarding destination in the entire state, offering over 7,000 acres of terrain, unique base areas, and multiple lifts and paths for you to take. Once you are done taking enough runs for the day, you can even ski or snowboard right into town!

Park City Mountain Resort offers a summit elevation of over 10,000 feet, providing you with one of the tallest viewpoints and summits in the entire state. You will start at a whopping elevation of nearly 7,000 feet and take the gondolas and lifts to the top of the summit to begin your descent towards the beautiful town down below.

Choose whichever trail and path works best for your ski level — the mountain resort offers seven terrain parks, 8% beginner trails, 42% intermediate paths, and 50% advanced terrain. Featuring over 330 trails, you can choose any combination of trails that make your adventure customizable and perfect for you and your group members.

Go Shopping for Souvenirs or Clothes

The last thing to include on your must-do list for your trip to Park City is to go shopping! Take a break from the great outdoors and head inside for a change to pick up some clothes, gifts, or souvenirs for your friends back at home. Check out the Collective Park City for boutique women’s clothing, Park City Souvenir Co. for handmade items and unique souvenirs, or nearby shopping malls for gifts.

You can also walk down the bustling and busy main street to find unique shops only available in Park City, like the Alpine Distilling bar, The Exchange, Bjorn Stova, The Market at Park City, and Dolly’s Bookstore.

Are you in the mood to hit the slopes this upcoming fall and winter season? We don’t blame you. The summer has been long, and the slopes haven’t been open for months. If you are a snow bunny and love hitting the black diamond runs, lacing up your winter boots, and putting on your ski goggles, this can seem like a long time.

Fortunately, winter is coming. There is no better place to be when snow falls than a mountain resort that offers ample access to ski slopes, snowboard runs, après ski dining options, and an outdoor culture where you can go outside and enjoy nature every single day of your holiday.

If this sounds like the perfect relaxing and fun getaway for you and your family, we have the ideal spot for you. I Love Park City has dozens of accommodation choices for groups of various sizes, ranging from small cabins to luxurious mansions for dozens of people.

We think the best house for small families to come and enjoy the slopes, downtown area, and fun attractions for kids is the Deer Valley Enclave 11. This beautiful and modern house is a 2-bedroom and 2-bathroom Park City property that is large enough for you and 5 other people.

Living Room

As soon as you walk into the house, you will notice the wooden detailing, white walls that make the space feel super big, unique architecture, and high ceilings. We love the open-air feeling and cabin-like vibe of this house, while still being extremely modern and updated.

The living room has a plush leather couch and chairs for you to sit in and watch your favorite show on the flatscreen TV. You can also turn on the fireplace to stay warm after a day full of being on the slopes and skiing in fresh powder. Turn on the gas-assisted fireplace and place your socks and ski boots by the fireplace as you warm your hands and sip on hot cocoa.

You can also use the queen-sized Murphy bed in the living room if you have more guests. This way, everyone has their own private space, and they are super comfortable. The living room offers access to the kitchen, dining room, and private deck access, so the couple who sleeps here will be more than happy!

During the day, you can put away the Murphy bed and use the two couches for sitting, watching TV, playing a game of cards with your friends, using the coffee table to play a board game, or taking a midday nap after a morning of skiing and snowboarding.

We also like how the living room is directly connected to the dining room, meaning you can migrate to the table to share a meal with your family and friends in just a few steps. The open floor plan makes this house feel huge.

Outdoor Area

One of the main perks of renting this house is the outdoor space. The private main level deck overlooks the resort, which is directly in your backyard, with seating for two people in the cozy Adirondack chairs with a fur blanket. Put your drink on the armrest and gaze at the slopes that you just came from.

Modern Kitchen

Once it comes time to make a snack, drinks, or meal for your kids or guests, head to the open floor plan kitchen to use new stainless-steel appliances, wine fridge, ice maker, and granite stone countertops to prep food. The layout, including the high-top bar stools, makes this kitchen a great spot for entertaining, preparing, and making food.

Bedrooms

The numerous bedrooms provide ample relaxation and rest areas for you and your family or friends to chill out, get a great night’s sleep, and unpack all your clothes. If you are staying in the master bedroom, you can enjoy a king-size bed, plush linens, and soft pillows that are conducive to total relaxation and serenity.

Turn on your private flatscreen smart TV to lull yourself to sleep. Draw the blinds to your private deck area and see the sun go down behind the mountain. Turn on the lamp on your bedside table if you are in the mood to read a book before dozing off and curling up under the covers. This master bedroom also has access to the private hot tub for late nights with your loved one.

The second bedroom offers a comfortable and soft queen-sized bed, windows, an ensuite bathroom to shower off before hopping under the covers, and a 55” Sony TV to watch a quick show before dozing off and counting sheep.

Crafts and Drafts

Everyone loves craft beer, right? We think so, too. Craft beer is perfect to refresh yourself after a long hike through the dense forest or to ‘warm up’ after a long day of skiing on the cold slopes. No matter what time of year, craft beer is refreshing, tasty, and strong. And if you’re looking for local and tasty pours, there is nowhere better than the State Road Tavern.

Head here on November 8th between 6 and 9 pm to sip on a few pints of craft beer and take part in an arts and crafts evening. You can make a stocking stuffer or a heartfelt gift for your friend or family member as you have some beer in the process — hopefully not too many!

Karaoke Nights

Get in the Christmas spirit by heading to the Bronco Entertainment venue to sing your heart out and listen to other karaoke-goers try their best to remember the lyrics and get the crowd on their feet. Karaoke Nights on November 10th between 7 and 10 pm at the State Road Tavern is a great way to get your entire group laughing, singing, and having fun.

Greet Santa

If you are going to Park City with your kids this holiday season, you can’t miss the arrival of the infamous Santa Claus. Head to the Town Lift Plaza in the heart of Park City to greet Santa and his popular reindeer. Make sure you get here before 5 pm to get a great seat, purchase a cup of hot cocoa as the sun starts to go down and munch on some holiday cookies as you wait for Good Ol’ Saint Nick to arrive.

SnowFest

One of the most popular events of the entire year is SnowFest. For two weeks in December, right up until New Year’s Eve, SnowFest takes the city by storm. This 16-day event features musical concerts, local artist installations, entertainment, and much more.

Torchlight Parade

See the sky light up at night — no, not for the twinkling and dazzling stars in the black night sky — but from the torches as you march along the street of Park City Mountain Resort. You can even see Santa skiing down the hill before he gets ready to drop off presents for the good kids who live in Park City. Then, watch as other instructors, pro skiers, and snowboarders wind down the mountain in the dark, giving the crowd tons to ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ about.

Make sure you bring your camera, too, so you can take pics of your children with St. Nick with the mountain as the picturesque backdrop.

New Year’s Eve Celebration

Ring in 2024 by heading to Park City and celebrating with your friends and family! There is no better way to celebrate the new year and wish for good things to come by being surrounded by all of your loved ones, live music, and good vibes. You can even take a sleigh ride with your kids through the beautiful streets of this incredible mountain town as the last bits of snowfall in 2023. Then, enjoy live music, sing along, and watch the breathtaking fireworks display at 7 pm.

As you can see, there is so much you can do if you had to go to Park City this upcoming winter season. Meet Santa, purchase last-minute Christmas gifts for your friends or family, listen to live music, sing along to Christmas carols, and explore the picturesque downtown area and nearby ski slopes of this incredible town in Utah. Stay in one of our luxurious homes or one of our Park City ski-in ski-out rentals as you wake up on Christmas morning to the sound of the fire roaring, snow falling, and sleigh bells ringing in the air. It couldn’t be more perfect for a winter wonderland holiday.
