Most do not make it and will end up sinking into the icy waters and although it is a major catastrophe for the skimmer, for those watching it is the highlight of the show. Not that we are taking pleasure in someone’s loss, but it is quite amusing to see and the skiers/skimmers understand the joy we take in their failures.
