Although you don’t want to spend the majority of your vacation slaving away in the kitchen to feed your guests, you won’t even mind spending a bit of time in this modern and functional cooking area! The kitchen features a wooden countertop that is ideal for serving your guests breakfast, pouring happy hour drinks, or cutting up vegetables. You can also use the new stainless steel appliances, like the stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, or coffee pot, to whip up a quick breakfast in the morning. We love the simplicity and functionality of the living room and the open floor plan. Curl up on the cozy couch and put your favorite movie or TV show on the flat screen TV at the end of a long day. You can pour a few glasses of wine and put them on the coffee table as you de-stress from a busy week of work, or you just sit and chat with your loved ones as they sit in the two chairs by the window.

The ample seating areas in this condo make it easy for you to talk with your friends, invite people over, and spend quality time with your guests. Not to mention, you can always feel free to use the heated pool and two hot tubs to ease your aching muscles after a long day of hiking.

Last but not least, the bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. We know that after a long day of hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, or shopping at Park City, you are going to want to curl up under the covers and get a full night of sleep. And you never have to worry about your guests – they can sleep on the queen-sized sofa bed and will never feel cramped or crowded!

Not sure what to do during your summer vacation in Park City? You will never run out of ideas! Check out these top summer activities in Park City.

Hiking in and Around Park City, UT

There is so much to do in Park City during the summer — but one of the best activities for you to burn some calories, spend quality time with your loved ones, and enjoy the fresh air in nature is going on a hike with your friends and family! Hiking can be done any time of the year, but we enjoy going in the summer so you can soak in the bright sunshine and hop into a nice cool waterfall or lake at the end.

There are tons of trails for you to choose from when you stay here. Whether you are going on a hike with younger children or are an avid outdoors person who likes going on full-day excursions, we have something for everyone.

For those who want to do a hike close to the center of town, we recommend starting with the Bloods Lake and Lackawaxen Circuit trail. This out-and-back trail or looped trail is great for those who want a short hike that typically takes around 1-1.5 hours. Start at Bloods Lake Trailhead and rise high above the aspen trees. Then, bring your pup into Lake Lackawaxen at the end of the hike!

For those who want something slightly more challenging, the Silver Lake and Bald Mountain trail is the top option. This out-and-back trail features over 1,400 elevation gain, which is great to get your heart pounding. We recommend starting at the Silver Lake chairlift and soaring high above the Jordanelle Reservoir and Heber Valley.

If you want to go for a morning trail run, the Lofty Lakes Loop offers some of the best views of the wildflowers, lakes, and rolling hills. Make sure you stop at Picturesque Lake to get a few Instagram photos and cool off during your hike.

If you just can’t get enough of the bright blue lakes and pristine views of wildflowers in the distance, then head to the Three Divide Lakes trail from the Crystal Lake Trailhead. You will go over 540 feet through this popular trail.

Lastly, the Armstrong trail is a smart choice for those who want to go either hiking or mountain biking in the summer season! Head to the Three Kings Road starting point and take a break once you reach the top by the King Con lift. The views are amazing!

Walk Around Historic Main Street

Another great thing to do during the bustling summertime here in Park City is to walk around the picturesque and beautiful historic section of town! The Historic Main Street features old buildings, lamp lighting, views of the rolling hills, vintage shops, mouthwatering restaurants, cool cafes, and much more.

We recommend stopping at Riverhorse on Main for contemporary American food and pints of beer, Yuki Yama Sushi for healthy Asian food, or Grappa Italian Cafe for huge portions of pasta and glasses of wine. Another great spot is the Wasatch Brewery for a fresh pint on a hot summer day!

Other interesting shops on Main Street that are must-visits are Sock City Park City, Atticus Coffee, Books & Teahouse, Riverhorse Provisions, Pink Elephant Coffee Roasters, Olive and Tweed, Flight Boutique, and much more!

Listen to an Outdoor Concert

One of the best ways to decompress, de-stress, and spend time with your friends and family — without scaling a mountain! — is to listen to some live music. The good thing is that there are tons of concerts, live music gigs, performances, and entertainment venues for you to check out during your summer in Park City.

One of the most famous among tourists and locals alike is the Deer Valley Concert series, held outdoors in one of the most beautiful areas of the town. This natural and nature-made amphitheater serves as the home for some of the best live musicians you will see this entire summer. Make sure you pre-order a gourmet picnic so you can eat tasty local food and have a few drinks while you watch the sunset in the distance.

Head to Park Silly Sunday

Park Silly Sunday Market is one of the best spots for you to pick up some local produce, fresh fruits and vegetables, tasty meat, and pre-made meals that make it easy for you to cook and prepare food for your guests. There are dozens of local musicians, performers, artists, restaurant owners, and entertainment activities for you and the entire family.

Soar High Above the Sky!

Last but not least, we love going on hot air balloon rides to get a birds-eye view of the beautiful town down below. The hot air balloon rides soar hundreds of meters above Park City and provide the ideal viewpoint for seeing the amazing Wasatch mountains, dusk over the rolling hills, and flora and fauna in Utah.

Park City 4th of July Parade

Don’t you want to spend time with other locals, meet tourists in the air, gaze at the incredible displays of art and music, and grab a tan in the meantime? We think so too! The infamous parade that crowds the streets of Park City brings out tourists and locals alike to celebrate and enjoy spending a few hours collaborating with the local community, waving at the entertainers, viewing the artistic and cool costumes, and really soaking in the beautiful Utah weather.

This infamous parade is on the 4th of July on Historic Main Street and City Park. Make sure you get here a few hours early so you can set up a seat for the parade, prop your feet up on the drinks cooler, and just chill out as you wait for the big show to begin!

The parade is on from 11 am to 5 pm, so we recommend bringing your chairs, grabbing a cooler, and occupying your spot around 10 am to obtain a great vantage point. Make sure you wear sunscreen and bring a hat on this hot summer day!

This fun parade and barbecue not only lets locals really show appreciation for the people who make Park City the amazing city it truly is, but it also puts on a fun 5k run, volleyball game, rugby games, kid-friendly activities for toddlers and teenagers alike, upbeat live music from local musicians, and refreshments — both alcoholic and nonalcoholic alike. Once the parade moves to Park City Mountain, you can head here to enjoy family activities, live music, and songs to get you up to dance, games, and much more!

5k Fun Run

The 5k fun run is a huge event during the 4th of July celebrations every year in Park City, UT! This Park City 4th of July 5k offers a super-fast and flat course that we like for beginners or those who are trying to get a personal best in this 3.2-mile race. This fun event is early in the day, so you can get in your 10,000 steps, feel good about yourself, and then go party all day long!

We recommend signing up early — this cool run usually brings out upwards of 5,000 people for this exciting and fast course that offers beautiful surroundings. This 5k has proceeds that go to the Park City Ski and Snowboard athletes, so you can feel good about helping Park City, organizations, and athletes during your entire run. Or, you can have fun just going for a nice walk on the 5k course to start your day!

Climb to the Top of a Tall Peak or Go for a Relaxing Nature Walk!

You can go hiking and walking all year round, but heading out for an early morning hike in the middle of July is the best way to avoid the triple-digit weather, beat the heat of the mid-day sunshine, and even catch the sunrise for a once in a lifetime opportunity and great photo op! We love going on easy nature walks with younger children, waterfall excursions for a half-day trip outside of the bustling town center, and lung-busting peak hikes with our athletic friends during our stay in Park City.

For beginners, or those who may have limited physical fitness, don’t worry — you can still get out in nature! We love the Glenwild and Stealth Trail at Spring Creek Trailhead. You can go for a walk or run on this naked and well-maintained trail with younger children and older adults during your 4th of July Bash. We love how this trail gets direct sun in the summer months, so you can feel the hot sun on your face during the middle of the summer, feel healthy about yourself, and start the day with a wholesome activity.

For athletes who are a little more comfortable on trails and want to break a sweat, we can’t get enough of The Fink Again Loop. This picturesque and slightly challenging looped trail is well-known for its wildflowers, large trees, and far-reaching views. Although this is relatively easy, the elevation gain of 133 meters is a good test for those who want to break a sweat, increase their cardio fitness, and feel good about a workout to start the day.

Are you an intense hiker? Do you want to break a seat, bring a backpack filled with energy gels, and climb to the top of one of the tallest mountains? If so, we have the hike for you! There are so many trails for you to choose from that you will simply never get bored here. We recommend starting with the Armstrong Trail, which has over 750 feet of elevation gain, incredible views, and rocky terrain.

Common Space

As soon as you enter the home, you will love the high ceilings, modern decor, comfortable furnishings, interesting artwork, and laid-back vibes. This condo feels like a cool mixture between a modern condo and a rustic cabin, providing you with the ideal mountain vibes for your outdoor-centric vacation.

The living room features a plush blue couch, coffee table, and ample chairs that make it ideal for playing a game of cards, chatting with your friends, and watching TV after a long day of tackling the slopes.

Modern Kitchen

If you want to make a few snacks for you and your friends, walk just a few steps into the kitchen. This functional and small kitchen is part of the open floor plan, making it easy to use, space efficient, and seamless. Grab some snacks from the modern cabinets, use the stainless steel appliances to whip up a quick lunch, and serve happy hour drinks or appetizers on the white granite countertop to your guests sitting on the high top bar stools.

Then, if you want to have a ‘formal’ meal at the table, sit at the half-circle wooden dining room table by the entryway with two other guests. We like sitting here to have casual drinks before dinner, playing a game of cards, or using this as a desk for remote work. Set up your laptop and send a few emails before you spend the evening out on the town in Park City!

Bedrooms

Head up the stylish spiral staircase to reach the upstairs bedrooms and pick out where you are going to sleep that night. Spoiler alert — there is no ‘bad’ bedroom! Both bedrooms are cozy, comfortable, and spacious, ensuring you can spread out, unpack your clothes, and get a great night of sleep before hiking, biking, kayaking, and canoeing the next day.

The first bedroom features a large bed with a smart TV, bureau space, small window, and white walls and bedding, making the space feel huge and airy! This sleeping area features a king-sized bed with access to a full bathroom with a tub to soak your aching muscles or a shower to rinse the dirt off of your legs from a rough-and-tumble mountain bike ride! The other bedroom is in the loft space, providing privacy and an intimate setting for couples, or a private area for teens who want their own independence. This loft features two twin beds and access to a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination.

Amenities

There are dozens of amenities here in the mountain condo that make your stay so much more enjoyable. Forget hotels, hostels, and B&Bs that lack character, charm, and personalization — our home features a unique style and helpful amenity that makes it feel like you are staying in your very own property!

We offer a garage with parking space for one vehicle during your stay, making it easy for you to get around to the local hiking areas and protect your car in the evening.

Plus, our condo features fast, high-speed Wi-Fi internet so you can stay connected to your family and friends during vacation. If you need to stay connected to your workplace or you are a remote worker, you can send emails, take Zoom calls, and attend conference calls while staying here.

We also offer a stacked washer and dryer in the half bathroom in this Park City property. You don’t have to over pack, since you can just wash your bathing suits, ski pants, socks, shorts, and workout clothes with ease.

Looking for things to do this upcoming Memorial Day in Park City, Utah? Not only are there fun annual events that you can attend, but there are cool activities and excursions that you can do all year round. It is no wonder that people flock to this vibrant mountain town all year round, heading to the ski slopes in the wintertime and reaching the top of the green peaks during the summertime. Let’s check out some of the best activities for you and your friends to do during your weekend off work!

Chill Out at One of the State Parks

The state parks are home to numerous hiking trails, bike paths, green spaces, lakes, and recreational activities. You can spend your time hiking to the top of the tallest peaks, weaving your way through the trees on your mountain bike, taking photos of the wildlife, identifying the different plants and trees in the forest, or just simply relaxing and hanging out with your friends in the beautiful weather.

We recommend going boating on one of the ponds or lakes and feel the breeze flowing through your hair. You might need to cool off after a hard hike to one of the many mountains in Deer Creek State Park or Wasatch Mountain Park!

Take a Drive

Another fun thing to do during Memorial Day Weekend in Park City is to rent a car and go for a drive. If you want to go up high — like really high! — but you don’t want to take a bus or have to bike your way on the windy roads, renting a car is the best way to get incredible views, take breathtaking photos, and soak in the pristine natural atmosphere of Utah and the mountains. We recommend going on The Mirror Lake Scenic Bypass and the Guardsman Pass during your weekend here.

Wander Around Main Street

Main Street in Park City is a bustling and exciting street filled with vintage stores, souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, breweries, and much more. This is the cultural center of the city, so exploring this always-busy street is a great way to see what Utah is all about. We recommend going to the Park City Silly Market if you come here with kids or head to the Park City Museum if you get a spell of rain during your weekend here! Plus, you can head back here at night to enjoy the exciting nightlife scene, featuring bars, clubs, and cocktails with your loved ones.

The best bars to check out on Main Street are O’Shucks Bar and Grill Main Street, featuring tons of TVs for sporting events, Alpine Distilling Bar for strong cocktail drinks, and The Spur Bar and Grill for an old-school feel. For dinner, we love going to Riverhorse on Main for a fine-dining experience featuring local cuisine. Another favorite is The Eating Establishment, a longtime favorite among locals that features classic comfort food and an airy space.

Take a Tour!

If you are unsure what to do during your weekend in Park City, sometimes it is best to leave things to the professionals. You can take a multitude of tours during your stay here, ranging from relaxing cultural excursions to heart-pounding hikes high into the mountains. Some of the most popular routers include the Adult Snowboard Rental Package, Private Guided Snowshoe Excursion, Urban Art and Historical E-Bike Tour, Utah Outdoor Adventures Tour, and much more.

Go Brewery Hopping

Last but not least, going brewery hopping during your stay in Park City is a great way to try the local beer, meet people from all over the world, chat with the small breweries, and help local businesses. You can join a brewery tour or create your own self-made tour of breweries in the surrounding areas.

We recommend starting with Wasatch Brew Pub. This brewery on Main Street features TV screens, an industrial vibe, and dozens of craft beers on tap. Then, head to Offset Bier in Windy Ridge Bakery to have a more low-key feel and laid-back vibe in this tiny and European brewery.

After you have finished your pint at Offset Bier, head to Park City Brewing in Kimball Junction. Grab a bar snack here and chat with the bartender about the best pint to pair with your hearty food. You will love this industrial space for big groups and chit-chatting with one another.

The final spot on your brewery tour has to be the Alpine Distilling Bar. This cool cocktail bar is geared more towards whiskey, cocktails, and liquor, but it is a well-known bar that is a popular spot to add for brewery and wine tours. Head here to enjoy the wooden and rustic vibe, low lighting, and knowledgeable bartenders.

Park City is one of the best places to stay for Memorial Day in Park City. Not only are there annual events for you to attend, but you can really explore all that this vibrant city has to offer, including breweries, bars, restaurants, hiking trails, mountains, outdoor water sports, and much more. Plus, when you stay with I Love Park City, you can rest assured that you will come home to a comfortable and cozy home at the end of every day.

So, if bedtime is early, it is time to find your bedroom. The good thing about this condo is that there is only one “bedroom” to choose from, so it should be easy to find! The master bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed, smart TV to watch your favorite program, and a desk/work area that is great for staying in touch with your work colleagues, sending emails, or taking Zoom calls.

Plus, you don’t have to worry. Just because there is only one master suite, that doesn’t mean there isn’t more space for your guests to sleep. The condo offers a plush and comfortable sofa bed in the living room that is great for your friends or family. We love that this condo allows guests to sleep in the living room, so it makes it feel like the entire common area is your own suite. You can use the sofa bed, 55” TV, and fireplace to lull yourself to sleep after a long day on the slopes.

Are you looking for a fun-filled and exciting Park City Mother’s Day? Well, look no further! There are dozens of activities and events for you to do during your stay here, along with finding the top places to go that will provide you with great dining experiences, fantastic views, incredible shopping, and much more.

Mother’s Day Brunch

One of the best things to do during Mother’s Day weekend with your family is to go for a nice brunch. We recommend heading to The Eating Establishment, Five 5eeds, or The Bridge Cafe and Grill for filing plates, good vibes, and pristine views of the nearby mountains. You can look outside of the window and check out Park City Mountain and the gondolas that start and end right in this lovely mountain town.

The Eating Establishment is one of the most popular breakfast spots in the entire state — and we know why! Try the all-day breakfast plates, like the Shakshuka skillet with two eggs any style, tomato sauce, potatoes, roasted red peppers, feta cheese, and kale with crunchy toast. Other plates that are popular among tourists and locals include Huevos Rancheros with flour tortillas and Mexican spices, biscuits and gravy with buttermilk biscuits, and sweet French Toast with lemon curd.

If you are in the mood for Mother’s Day brunch with a show, then check out Cabin Queens! Head to the Sunday Drag Brunch show at 11 am that features pictures and meet and greet with the drag queen stars, incredible performances, and tasty food that are going to have you stay for hours on end. Oh, and we can’t forget the never-ending mimosas, cocktails, beers, and glasses of wine that will keep the spirits high for the entire day.

Go for a Hike

After a filling and hearty brunch, it might be the best time to head out for a hike! You can burn some calories, help digest your food, and soak in incredible views that overlook the bright blue lakes, lush green pine forests, white-capped mountain peaks, and mountain towns down below. We recommend heading out on Mid-Mountain Trail, Bloods Lake, Armstrong Trail, Run-A-Muk Trail, or McPolin Farm Nature Trail to work your leg muscles, bond with your family, and take memorable photos.

Mid-Mountain Trail is a great trail that brings you up high, takes you down low, and has you crawling and scrambling over white rock, aspen trees, and flowery meadows. Although the trail is not extremely hard, it is a great trail for a half-day trip that provides expansive views and bright blue skies.

If you are in the mood for a swim at the end of your hard-earned hike, then Bloods Lake is a smart choice for those who want a little bit of everything! Put on your hiking boots and head off on this well-maintained trail that is short, beautiful, and features scrambling for the kids. And the best part is that if you want to make it a bit harder, you can always continue on to Lackawaxen Lake for some steep climbing, amazing views, and a cold water plunge at the end!

Grab a Celebratory Drink

No Park City Mother’s Day or holiday weekend is complete without a celebratory drink afterward. You want to make sure that everyone is having a good time, enjoying themselves, and remembering why you are all there — for a mother or family friend that has done so much for you in your lifetime. One of the best ways to celebrate is to share stories, make a toast, and sip on a nice drink at one of the many bars and cocktail spots dotted around Park City.

If you are in the mood for somewhere with a sports bar vibe, TVs for watching games, and a laid-back atmosphere, O’Shucks Bar and Grill on Main Street brings an Irish flair to a typical American sports bar. For those who want something a bit more upscale, the OP Rockwell Cocktail Lounge and Music Hall is a fun speakeasy with high-end cocktails and dark interior lighting.

We also love going to the No Name Saloon and Grill to dance the night away and meet friendly locals. If you just want to sit and have a few pints while you chat with your mother, then the Squatters Craft Beer Brewpub is THE best spot for chill drinks and great beer from local breweries. Don’t just take our word for it — head out on the town for your last night with the family to see all that Park City has to offer!

And the best part? At the end of a long day, you can head back to your pristine condo, modern apartment, or spacious home from I Love Park City. We offer a wide range of properties that can suit your unique needs, whether you want a home with an outdoor pool, wrap-around deck, mountain views, pet-friendly spaces, or multiple bedrooms. Our #1 goal is to make sure our guests are happy before, during, and after their stay.
