Once a sleepy little mining town of the 1880s, Park City has now become a very vibrant city, offering year-round activities, film festivals, Olympic qualifying events, and more. Whether you’re a snowboarder, skier, hiker, or mountain biker, Park City has everything. But there’s a lot more to do on the slopes of Park City than just skiing and snowboarding. This famous resort town offers plenty of activities for those seeking adventure.
Have you ever had the desire to soar through the sky above the trees of Park City Mountain Resort on a zip line? Located at the base of Park City Mountain Resort, the Flying Eagle Zip Line in Park City offers an experience you won’t forget. When you take a ride on the Zip Line, you’ll wonder why you haven’t tried it before.
The ride is open all winter and summer. The only restriction is that kids and adults must be at least 42 inches tall, however, there’s no weight minimum. The Zip Line starts and ends at the same location, so you can ride it as many times as you want.
From the top of the Park City Zip Line, you’ll get a bird’s eye view of the resort base area. You can see why they call it the “Flying Eagle” Zip Line as you soar down the mountain and feel like you’re flying through the air. The only apparatus that’s missing is a pair of wings. You’ll get a big kick when you hear your kids scream with excitement as they fly through the air on the Zip Line.
You can ride solo or with a friend. However, you might want to ride with a friend, just to see his/her reaction as they zip down the mountain. It’s an exhilarating ride that you will both enjoy.
As a precaution, children need to be at least 42 inches tall, and accompanied by adult (over 54 inches tall). The cost is $14 for adults, and $7 for little ones. For these prices, you get two rides up the mountain. With everything that Park City has to offer, you can see why it’s the perfect place for a summer vacation or weekend getaway.
