Crafts and Drafts

Everyone loves craft beer, right? We think so, too. Craft beer is perfect to refresh yourself after a long hike through the dense forest or to ‘warm up’ after a long day of skiing on the cold slopes. No matter what time of year, craft beer is refreshing, tasty, and strong. And if you’re looking for local and tasty pours, there is nowhere better than the State Road Tavern.

Head here on November 8th between 6 and 9 pm to sip on a few pints of craft beer and take part in an arts and crafts evening. You can make a stocking stuffer or a heartfelt gift for your friend or family member as you have some beer in the process — hopefully not too many!

Karaoke Nights

Get in the Christmas spirit by heading to the Bronco Entertainment venue to sing your heart out and listen to other karaoke-goers try their best to remember the lyrics and get the crowd on their feet. Karaoke Nights on November 10th between 7 and 10 pm at the State Road Tavern is a great way to get your entire group laughing, singing, and having fun.

Greet Santa

If you are going to Park City with your kids this holiday season, you can’t miss the arrival of the infamous Santa Claus. Head to the Town Lift Plaza in the heart of Park City to greet Santa and his popular reindeer. Make sure you get here before 5 pm to get a great seat, purchase a cup of hot cocoa as the sun starts to go down and munch on some holiday cookies as you wait for Good Ol’ Saint Nick to arrive.

SnowFest

One of the most popular events of the entire year is SnowFest. For two weeks in December, right up until New Year’s Eve, SnowFest takes the city by storm. This 16-day event features musical concerts, local artist installations, entertainment, and much more.

Torchlight Parade

See the sky light up at night — no, not for the twinkling and dazzling stars in the black night sky — but from the torches as you march along the street of Park City Mountain Resort. You can even see Santa skiing down the hill before he gets ready to drop off presents for the good kids who live in Park City. Then, watch as other instructors, pro skiers, and snowboarders wind down the mountain in the dark, giving the crowd tons to ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ about.

Make sure you bring your camera, too, so you can take pics of your children with St. Nick with the mountain as the picturesque backdrop.

New Year’s Eve Celebration

Ring in 2024 by heading to Park City and celebrating with your friends and family! There is no better way to celebrate the new year and wish for good things to come by being surrounded by all of your loved ones, live music, and good vibes. You can even take a sleigh ride with your kids through the beautiful streets of this incredible mountain town as the last bits of snowfall in 2023. Then, enjoy live music, sing along, and watch the breathtaking fireworks display at 7 pm.

As you can see, there is so much you can do if you had to go to Park City this upcoming winter season. Meet Santa, purchase last-minute Christmas gifts for your friends or family, listen to live music, sing along to Christmas carols, and explore the picturesque downtown area and nearby ski slopes of this incredible town in Utah. Stay in one of our luxurious homes or one of our Park City ski-in ski-out rentals as you wake up on Christmas morning to the sound of the fire roaring, snow falling, and sleigh bells ringing in the air. It couldn’t be more perfect for a winter wonderland holiday.
