The Border Food Truck Tacos, Birria, and Burgers

You can sit outside, watch the sunset go down over the nearby snow-capped mountains, and nosh on a few mouthwatering tacos with fresh ingredients. What could be better?
We love the mulitas for an appetizer to split with the table, featuring steak, al pastor, pineapple, spicy pork, chicken, and veggies. Another great choice for an easy sharing ‘sandwich’ is the Torta with steak, al pastor with pineapple, and your choice of other fillings. The massive burritos are great as stand-alone entrees, with your choice of birria, chicken, or veggies as the filling.
Make sure you also get one of the other signature dishes during your vacay in Park City, like the tacos for just $2.49 a piece. This is a huge bargain for the fresh tacos with your choice of meat, refried beans, salsa, and fresh tortilla wraps. Kids will love the cheese quesadillas for a simple, tasty, and savory dish that you can customize to your liking.
If you want the ‘birria special’, then order the aptly named dish with 3 big crunchy shell tacos, double tortillas, melted cheese, and consommé broth. Want to combine authentic Mexican dishes with American food? Well, we recommend the Monster burger with a double patty, cheese, bacon, ham, hot dogs, pineapple, and avocado. You won’t have room for dessert after this dish!
End the evening with sweet milkshakes, like the Oreo shake or M&M shake. You can also wash down your burger, burrito, or birria with horchata juice, freshly made waters, or tasty juices that add a bit of sweetness to your savory sandwich or Mexican platter.
Freshies Lobster
Although you’re not right on the coast, Park City turns out great seafood dishes with freshly caught fish, crunchy vegetables, and local produce from the nearby area that makes seafood dishes tasty and delectable. Freshies is a food truck in Park City that is well known for their lobster, bringing people in from all over the country to enjoy the buttery and flaky fish.
Not sure what to get during your first visit? We highly recommend getting the lobster roll, of course. This New England hot dog bun features fresh lobster, mayonnaise, hot butter, and special seasoning that really puts it over the edge. You can get the XL Real Mainah with 3.7 ounces of fresh Maine lobster or the ‘tourist’ special with 2 ounces of Maine lobster.
Pair the lobster roll with one of the soups during a cold winter day, like the lobster bisque or New England clam chowder with clams, potatoes, chives, and oyster crackers. Or pair the lobster roll with a side during a spring day, like the lobster cocktail or lobster mac and cheese with gruyere cheese and 2.5 ounces of more savory lobster.
Do you want another sandwich besides the signature lobster roll? You will love the caprese sandwich for veggies, featuring burrata cheese, tomato, arugula, pesto sauce, and balsamic. We also love the Nono Dog, with grass fed beef hot dog and New England hot dog buns.

Who knew you could find Southern barbecue in Park City, a ski-centric town towards the West Coast of the United States? Well, look no further. You Can bring some of the Deep South to Utah by going to Lush’s Tennessee BBQ to get hearty meat dishes, sit outside in the beautiful weather, and curb your cravings.
Split one of the appetizers with the table, like the nachos with pulled pork or beef brisket. We also love the Beyond Barbecue section of the menu, featuring spaghetti and meatballs, a grilled salmon sandwich with two sides, and the grilled Mahi sandwich for those who want a seafood dish or don’t enjoy a barbecue. Although, we think everyone enjoys traditional Southern BBQ!
Start with the pulled pork sandwich or the beef brisket sandwich during your first visit, featuring either the ¼ pound or ½ pound option. You can also get a platter if you are super hungry, like the pulled pork platter, chicken platter, combo platter, or beef brisket platter for a hearty entree. Family meals include pulled pork, beef brisket, rack of ribs, or combo platter to share with the entire table.
There are tons of food trucks Park City has to offer you and the surrounding areas, but we think the best ones are a little more creative and outside of the box than just typical American food. The Border Food Truck offers birrias, tacos, burritos, and authentic Mexican dishes you won’t find in typical Tex-Mex joints. Freshies has super-fresh lobster and seafood to die for.
